The Key Technologies and Application Demonstration of Interactive Smart Classroom project jointly completed by the team of Professor Jin Lianwen from our school and Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the 10th Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Progress Award.
Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award was initiated and hosted by the National First-level Society-China Artificial Intelligence Society. It is the only intelligent science and technology field in my country named after the people's scientist, the pioneer of artificial intelligence, the pioneer and leader of my country's intelligent scientific research, the winner of the first national science and technology award, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the honorary chairman of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Wu Wenjun, A science and technology award established by social forces. It aims to reward units or individuals that have made important discoveries in intelligent scientific research, or strive to achieve original innovations and breakthroughs, or conquer key core technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, promote major progress in science and technology, and create huge economic and social benefits or ecological and environmental benefits.
Smart education is an important part of the National Education Informatization 2.0 Action Guide, and classroom intelligent interaction and intelligent marking are two key intelligent auxiliary education technologies. This project has carried out key technology research and industrialized applications for core technical issues such as interactive screen projection, intelligent classroom interaction, and intelligent examination paper correction, and has made important progress and innovative technical results. The technical achievements of this project have promoted the large-scale application of new-generation artificial intelligence technologies such as pen-computing human-computer intelligent interaction and optical character recognition (OCR) in the education industry, and achieved good economic benefits. At the same time, it also actively responded to the Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan, bringing high-quality and massive teaching resources to the weak areas of education in the western region, forming a batch of demonstration effects of smart education support cases in poverty-stricken areas, and generating good social benefits.
