School of Sino-French Engineers' 1st conference of board of directors opens

On Sept 22, a 4-member delegation led by René Le Gall, President of École polytechnique de l'université de Nantes visited SCUT as French representatives from School of Sino-French Engineers, and had the first conference of board of directors. ZHU Min, Vice-president had a talk with the guests on behalf of SCUT.


The conference had achieved consensus on the issues of formulating the framework for board of directors and internal management regulations, and developing the mechanism for exchanges and negotiation between the two sides. Also, they had an in-depth communication on the positioning of the School and its development as well as the problems emerging in operating the projects, so as to seek out solutions of the problems.


It is learnt that School of Sino-French Engineers was initiated jointly by SCUT, École polytechnique de l'université de Nantes and Institute National of Polytechnic in Oct, 2010. Now the School's project of "3+1+2" is open to students of Grade 2011, planning to recruit 50 members.
