摘要:
The fifth generation (5G) mobile communication networks have started being deployed around the world from mid of 2019. Since 5G has been standardized, researchers are now shifting the focus towards the sixth generation (6G) mobile communication networks to meet the requirements of future network beyond the year 2030. One of the key enhancements in 6G is to introduce higher number of antennas to improve spatial diversity. In order to take advantage of the spatial diversity of spreading information over multiple spatial and temporal degrees of freedom, space-time codes can be employed in the communication system. However, if the propagation channel changes quickly, the training required for coherent communications will require too much overhead. This issue can be solved using noncoherent communication where there is a lack of channel knowledge at both the transmitter and receiver. On the other hand, the theory of quantum error correction (QEC) has been employed to correct a broad class of channel errors. Classical error correcting codes have been extended to create many families of QEC. In this work, we propose an extension to the space-time approach to noncoherent communication channel using QEC. This talk focuses on the recent research activities in Quantum Machine Learning for 6G Communication Networks.
