On the morning of April 8, 2008, a joint meeting of the Party and the government was held at B3-308. In order to cultivate students' hands-on and innovative abilities, after discussion, a plan was formulated for outstanding undergraduate students in the third year of the School of Computer Science and Engineering to enter the team laboratory. And it will be implemented from today onwards.
1. Overall principle
Starting from the first semester of the third academic year, excellent third year undergraduate students will be integrated into a team laboratory, student research plan, hundred step ladder, graduation internship, and graduation project, forming a complete practical chain to improve students' hands-on and innovative abilities. Students will be allowed to enter the team laboratory, participate in professors' research projects, and enhance their hands-on and innovative abilities. The entire work will be operated and managed by the academic team of the college as the entity.
2. The operation of excellent third year undergraduate students entering the team laboratory
Time: Starting from the beginning of the first semester of the third academic year, in order to maintain stability, it will be used as the basis for grouping graduation internships and graduation projects.
1. The college held a mobilization meeting to convey the relevant spirit;
2. The third grade counselor of the Student Affairs Office compiled a list of the top 40% students in the first and second academic years of each class, who are expected to be outstanding students in the third grade (120 students). Other students with strong hands-on abilities can also be considered outstanding students;
3. The college announces the number of student indicators that each team can accept;
4. The college releases information on the projects undertaken by each team;
5. Two way selection between each team of the college and outstanding students;
6. Student Affairs Office statistics on registration status;
7. The college balances based on the number of indicators.
8. Announcement of results: Excellent third year undergraduate students have entered the team laboratory to participate in the project.
