Signing agreement

On December 6, representatives of the School of Computer Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology (SCUT) came to China Telecom Corporation Limited Guangdong Branchthe Guangdong Branch of China Telecom Corporation Limited for the signing and opening ceremony of joint construction of a practice base. Besides members from the CS school of SCUT, representatives of the Human Resources, the Enterprise Information Division and the Telecom Research Institute of China Telecom Co., Ltd. Guangdong Branchthe Guangdong Branch of China Telecom Corporation Limited also attended the ceremony.

Before the ceremony, representatives of the CS school of SCUT were invited to visit the customer experience center and the provincial network monitoring center of China Telecom. After that, a simple but solemn signing and opening ceremony was held in the conference room of the customer experience center. At the ceremony, leaders of each side delivered a speech respectively and emphasized that their cooperation agrees on the decision made by the CPC Central Committee, which is we should encourage innovation in education, deepen its reform, optimize its structure, allocate its resources rationally, raise its quality and management levels and promote quality-oriented education to cultivate hundreds of millions of high-quality workers, tens of millions of specialized personnel and a great number of top-notch innovative personnel. Both school and society can play their full part in personnel training. It is expected that by the integration of advantages of both partners, especially the technological advantages of China Telecom Co., Ltd. Guangdong Branchthe Guangdong Branch of China Telecom Corporation Limited which is one of the Guangdong Top 100 Enterprises, more extensive cooperation platform providing students with better training opportunities will be established and higher level of cooperation between academia and industry will be achieved. One goal of such cooperation is to build a practice base to train new type of high-level specialized talents in computer science and engineering in South China, which is also a talent transmission channel to meet the development needs of enterprises. By exploring the school-enterprise cooperation through joint training, we can achieve resource sharing, so as to continuously cultivate and transport new top-level IT talents.

Finally, representatives of each side signed an agreement to jointly build a practice base and held the opening ceremony.
