"Litchi micro-class" won the third China "Internet +" college students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Gold Award

The third China “Internet+” University Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which is co-sponsored  by the Ministry of Education, the Office of the Leading Group for Central Cyber Security and Informatization, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State Intellectual Property Office, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Communist Youth League The Central Government and Shaanxi Provincial Government, was held in Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology on September 16. After three days of competition, the project Litchi Micro-class of our school won the Gold medal from 253 teams in 31 locations including, Hong Kong, Macau and overseas.


Litchi Micro-Class founded in June 2016 is an online education and training live broadcasting platform based on WeChat and APP. The project has received 20 million investment recently and has become the largest and highest quality micro-class live broadcasting platform in WeChat. Mr. Huang Guan, the founder of Litchi Micro-Class, is a 2013 undergraduate student in our school. The core members of the team include 6 master and 2 undergraduate student, all from our school. Their majors are in various subjects. Professor Xingming Zhang of our school and Professor Zhen Gong of Business Administration as expert advisor committee.


In recent years, our college always puts the cultivation of college students' innovative spirit and scientific research ability at top priority. It actively encourages and supports undergraduates to participate in various scientific research projects and guides students to devote their energies to exploring and seeking knowledge. In the first Internet+ college students' innovation and entrepreneurship contest, Mr. Di Chen, 2010 graduate student of our college and his team Guangzhou YouMi Mobile Technology Co., Ltd. entered the semi-finals and finished the runner-up. He himself was also Forbes named 30 Chinese entrepreneurs under the age of 30.


Undergraduates of our college have achieved many good results in international and domestic competitions. They reflect not only the excellent quality of undergraduate education and teaching, but also the great importance to the innovation and entrepreneurship of undergraduates of our school.
