The 15th International Conference on Sustainable Water Environment will be held onJuly 29th -30th, 2019 in University Town Campus of South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China.
The Conference is organized by the Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Ecosystem Restoration in Industry Clusters (Ministry of Education), South China University of Technology, and co-organized by Guangdong Water CO., LTD. and Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology.
The Conference will focus on the water environment and related problems. The topics to be discussed in the conference include, but are not limited to the following sub-topics: 1) Climate change and water; 2) Healthy watershed management; 3) Emerging contaminants; 4) Water conservation and reuse; 5) Water Energy Nexus.
The Conference will provide an open forum for scholars, engineers, and scientists to exhibit and to showcase their research and practices on sustainable water environment, in order to share the information on recent advances in sustainable water research and practices among various countries, enhance public awareness on sustainable water environment and formulate an international alliance on sustainable water research. Authoritative experts and scholars from Australia, Korea, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions will be invited to give reports on the latest frontier technologies and progress. In the conference, participants will exchange and discuss the latest science, engineering and technology related to sustainable water research in the form of conference keynote speaking, branch keynote speaking and branch report. 1) The Conference will be organized in the formats of platform presentations.Papers presented at the platform include invitations and contributions in response to call for papers.Papers presented at the platform sessions will be reviewed and edited for publication as conference proceedings.
2) In order to have widespread dissemination of the concept of sustainable water environment, an international panel will be formed to select manuscripts addressing topics with current and lasting impacts on the field of water, which will be published in a special issue of an international journal.
