    Technische Universität Kaiserslautern is a relatively young research-oriented university of science and engineering.a total of 10 professional fields, 42 professional,Kaiserslautern University of Technology's research and graduate education is internationally renowned, graduate education is located in scientific research centers and technology transfer between the famous industrial chain.Kaiserslautern University of Technology research and teaching direction and practice are closely linked with the industry in close cooperation with the University set up a series of research institutes, has also attracted a large number of industrial enterprises stationed in the vicinity of the University. Such as:Germany Artificial Intelligence Research Center, Germany Fraunhofer-Institut of Software Engineering Institute,aKaiserslautern University of Technology close cooperation and to gain international reputation.

    The Faculty of Chemistry at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern encompasses seven fields of research which are: Inorganic Chemistry (AC), Biochemistry (BC), Didactics (FD), Food Chemistry and Toxicology (LC), Organic Chemistry (OC), Physical and Theoretical Chemistry (PTC2) and Technical Chemistry (TC). The department's main objective is to qualify students for demanding positions in research, business, and administration. Chemistry alumni see the department's cooperative working atmosphere as its major strength, praising the non-bureaucratic and straightforward communication between teaching staff and students. 

    The aim of the initiative is to gain knowledge on Cooperative   Effects in Homo- and Heteronuclear Complexes (3MET). In total 19 projects will be funded by the DFG. In three major sections cooperative effects will be studied on  

(a) magnetism,

(b) synthesis and catalysis   and

(c) optical properties and spectroscopy.
