On Mar. 17, Prof. Ferenc Friedler, president of University of Pannonia (UP) paid a visit to SCUT. ZHU Min, vice president of SCUT, representatives of International Office and School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering met the guest.

ZHU made a brief introduction of SCUT to Prof. Ferenc Friedler, and pointed that both sides had a solid base of scientific cooperation in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering. Now SCUT and UP were working together for the scientific research cooperation project of EU, and should apply for international joint research projects through more channels in the future. Professor Friedler agreed with ZHU, and he thought that both sides should further cooperate in the pre-existing fields, and work together to develop cooperation in more vantage areas.

In the afternoon, Prof. Friedler made an introduction of UP and did an academic report named "process system engineering: structure and decomposition" for all the students and faculties of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
