Chaorong Qi

Introduction:

Chaorong Qi was born in 1975 in Guangdong, China. After graduation from Xi’an university of Petroleum in June 1996, he joined Zhongyuan Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Limited Company, Henan province, and worked there for 5 years as an assistant engineer. From 2004 to 2007, he pursued his Ph.D. research at South China University of Technology under the supervision of Professor Huan-Feng Jiang. After receiving his Ph.D. in 2007, Dr. Qi started his new career as a lecturer in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering, South China University of Technology, and became associate professor in 2010. He was a visiting scholar in Universite Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (with Prof. Marc Lemaire) in 2013. His research focuses on environmentally friendly synthesis and chemical fixation of carbon dioxide.
