Research Areas:
New energy focused on (1) Hydrogen production from methane and methanol, (2) Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution, (3) Selective removal by methanation of carbon monoxide from hydrogen-rich gas, and (4) Selective removal by oxidation of carbon monoxide from hydrogen-rich gas.
New catalytic materials and catalytic processes.
Green chemical reaction processes.

Current Research Projects:
The CO selective oxidation of hydrogen-rich gas for fuel cell automobiles, sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
