AU Lecture - Adaptive Distributed Observer and the Cooperative Control of Multi-agent Systems

    On November 14, academic lecture of AU organized by the School of Automation Science and Engineering was held on the sixth floor conference room of Building 3.The topic of this lecture was the Adaptive Distributed Observer and the Cooperative Control of Multi-agent Systems. Professor Jie Huang from CUHK was invited to this issue as the major guest. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Pei Hailong.

    Before the lecture, Professor Pei Hailong introduced the Professor Jie Huang to the audience. In the lecture, Professor Jie Huang firstly introduced the background and some concepts involved.Then, after showing us the observer based on the certainty equivalence principle, he also presented several cooperative control problems of multi-agent systems.In order to solve these problems more effectively and efficiently, the adaptive distributed observer is applied. What's more, Professor Jie Huang analyzed the specific features and advantages of the adaptive distributed observer, which made us have a better understanding of it. Finally, some listeners, including teachers and students, asked some questions about the lecture, and Professor Jie Huang answered them detailly.

    Impressed by the lively and interesting speech of Professor Jie Huang, we believed that the students not only expanded their horizon, but also felt the charm of the scientific research. It's a truly inspiring and beneficial lecture.
