On Sept. 21, Prof. Xiaoqi Chen from the University of Canterbury delivered a public lecture entitled “Opportunities and Challenges in Mobile Robotics Research” to the graduate students. Dr Chen is Professor and Director for Mechatronics Engineering Programme at the University of Canterbury. He is the founding Chair of IEEE Robotics and Automation New Zealand Chapter, and founding President for New Zealand – China Society of Science and Technology.
