On October 11, 2017, Forum on Practice-oriented Education & Award Ceremony and Exhibition of the 13th Chinese Landscape Architectural Graduation Projects was Held at South China University of Technology (SCUT), which was jointly sponsored by Peking University School of Architecture and Landscape Design, SCUT, China Architecture& Building Press. Nearly 120 domestic experts including Hong Kong and Macao-related institutions and listed garden companies, heads of well-known design enterprises and student representatives participated in the event. The activities included the awards presentation ceremony and the educational forum.

It is reported that "The 13th Chinese Landscape Architectural Graduation Projects Exhibition-LA Pioneer Award" received from 183 colleges and universities 814 groups of works. After three rounds of rigorous evaluation, a total of 26 winning entries were selected for exhibition at No. 27 East Hall of SCUT.

The event is to combine education and practice closely, and promotes the mutual exchange of professional colleges, regions and internationals through works display, evaluation, study and exchanges; let the concept of practical education be truly implemented in the education of landscape architecture.
