1993年和1996年在中南工业大学和北京科技大学金属材料专业获学士和硕士学位。1996年至2001年在北京航空材料研究院高温合金研究室任助理工程师和工程师。2005年在英国谢菲尔德大学(University of Sheffield)工程材料系获博士学位。2005年至2007年初在新加坡国立大学物理系超导与磁性材料中心从事博士后研究工作。2007年至2008年在南洋理工大学材料科学与工程学院从事研究工作研究员2006年入选华南理工大学兴华人才工程”“百人计划2007年被评为教授。20081月开始在华南理工大学工作,20085月被评为博士生导师,指导材料加工工程专业博士和硕士研究生。2010年和2014年两次任南洋理工大学访问教授2017年晋升三级教授。

主讲本科课程《材料科学与工程导论》、《材料物理基础》、《材料化学》、《磁性材料》、《薄膜技术与薄膜材料》;主讲硕士研究生课程《材料物理》、《磁性材料原理、工艺与应用》、《Advanced Metallic Materials and Compounds》;主讲博士研究生课程《磁性材料原理与应用》、《材料科学前沿》、《材料制备技术》等;获华南理工大学三育人先进个人、中集奖教金、拓璞奖教金、优秀班主任、优秀指导老师等荣誉。获首届华南理工大学我最喜爱的研究生导师称号。

近五年,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目3、国防“973”项目课题1、广东省自然科学基金项目、广东省科技计划项目、广东省产学研合作项目、广州市科技计划等纵向科研课题十余项,主持多项横向课题。在Adv MaterJACSAppl Phys LettActa MaterMater DesignJ Appl Phys等国际和国内学术刊物上发表论文380余篇SCI收录280余篇19981999两次获中国航空工业总公司科技进步二等奖2017年获广东省科技三等奖2005年获英国Daniel Doncastor Prize2008年入选广东省千百十工程学术骨干;2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才

目前是多个国际期刊编委,广东省材料研究学会理事、广东省稀土材料标准化技术委员会委员、广东省青年科学家协会理事;捷克、马来西亚、巴基斯坦等多个国家境外评审专家。注重国际交流与合作,与国内外同行保持着密切联系并开展了多方位的国际合作。

二、软磁材料与器件(非晶与纳米晶软磁合金、软磁复合材料与磁粉芯、绕线电感与一体成型电感、磁传感器件);

三、其他磁性材料(磁性吸波材料、热磁材料与磁热系统、磁性纳米颗粒、磁性薄膜);

四、电磁仿真与磁学模拟;
