Abstract:

Cluster units in the cluster-organic framework are not only stable in the reaction system, but also have available ligands to react with organic ligands to construct the extended structures. This report mainly introduces the research progress of transition metal oxygen-clusters, rare earth oxygen-clusters, germanium-oxygen clusters, cluster-open skeletons, and cluster-organic skeletons, as well as the application of vacancy directed synthesis in the construction of transition metal oxygen-clusters and its magnetic properties, adsorption, catalysis and second-order nonlinear optical properties.

Introduction to the Speaker：

Guoyu Yang is the professor of School of chemistry, Beijing institute of technology, MOE Key Laboratory of Cluster Science School of Chemistry. Prof. Yang has won a Second Class National Natural Science Award, a Fist Class Fujian Natural Science Award and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has published more than 390 papers, and was the chief editor of a monograph on Metal-Oxygen Cluster Chemistry. He is mainly engaged in the research of inorganic synthesis and material chemistry, including transition metal-oxygen cluster, rare earth-oxygen cluster, germanium-oxygen cluster, boron-oxygen cluster, porous materials based on oxygen cluster units, catalytic materials and second-order nonlinear optical materials.
